- The rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth, circular bokeh quality when using shallow depth of field and selective focus effects.

- As a lens built for the great outdoors, naturally, it has extensive weather sealing to protect against moisture, dust, and cold temperatures down to 14°F.
